Danina was recently imported from Hengststation Pape one of the top producing Hanoverian stallion stations in Germany. She is an exquisite daughter of Davignon, who earned high scores at her inspection and Mare Performance Test.

Danina’s sire, Davignon is widely regarded as Donnerhall’s best offspring. He represents the well recognized pairing of Donnerhall and a Pike Bube daughter, Piroschka. This combination has produced numerous licensed stallions, States Premium Mares and German National Championship participants. Davignon was Reserve Champion of his Stallion Performance Test and has gone on to claim many competition championships. His offspring command high prices both as foals and performance horses.

Danina’s dam, St. Pr. St. Wenke is by Werther. Werther was the first winner of the Hanoverian Stallion of the Year Award, and consistently remains in the top ranks of the FN Breeding Index as a sire of competition horses for all disciplines.

Danina earned high scores in her Mare Performance Test as a three-year-old. Studies in Germany have shown a high correlation between the Mare Performance Test and the ability to predict the talents of her offspring. Danina earned an outstanding overall score of 7.78 with individual scores as follows:

  • Walk   9
  • Trot   8
  • Canter   8
  • Rider Score   8
  • Guest Rider Score   8
  • Free Jumping Technique   7
  • Free Jumping Capability   7

She also earned 4th place at Dressage at Devon 2002 in the Broodmare class.

Her first foal by Bergamon earned Premium status in Germany. Her second foal by Regazzoni was Reserve Colt Site Champion at his AHS inspection and is progressing beautifully under saddle. Her 2003 and 2004 colts by Contucci earned high praises at their AHS inspections and then went on to earn high ribbons at Dressage at Devon.

A daughter of A Jungle Prince, Ariane was imported in 1997 by Hilltop Farm, Inc. Her sire line brings to our breeding program, the tremendously successful pairing of Argentinus and Pik Koenig. This genetic nick has resulted in numerous international champions in dressage and show jumping. In 1993, A Jungle Prince was the 6-year-old National Champion in Germany. He earned the National Championship again as a 7-year-old. In 1995, his first year at S level, he accumulated many wins. In 1996 he began his Grand Prix career and achieved many successes in the process.

Her dam line includes the extremely influential Romadour II and Matcho, both prolific producers of States Premium mares and licensed stallions in both show jumping and dressage.

Ariane was Produce of Dam Champion at Dressage at Devon in 2004.

All of Ariane’s foals have earned Premium awards, inspection site honors and high placings at Dressage at Devon. In 2003, Ariane earned a Star Award from ISR/Oldenburg N.A. for the superior quality of her offspring.

(Chestnut, 16.2H, Holsteiner)

Daughter of Le Santo and granddaughter of the great Landgraf I, Bit A Luck’s sire line represents one of the most influential and prosperous bloodlines in sport horse breeding history. Landgraf has sired more than 100 offspring at the international levels of show jumping and dressage. His son, Le Santo, was honored in 1989 as the AHHA Sire of the Year and through the year 1998, had produced the highest number of premium foals of any Holsteiner stallion in the United States.

Her dam line is equally impressive, containing top show horse bloodlines. Her grand dam, Shine O’Bit was Linda Larisch’s Grand Prix partner and Pan American Games mount. Her grand sire, My King was a Grand Prix dressage horse and a Grand Prix jumper for the Canadian team.

Despite a significant injury as a yearling that disallows her participation in the competition ring, Bit A Luck is confirmed through third level dressage and shows tremendous talent for piaffe and passage. Her movement is so extraordinary; it’s the goal of our breeding program to select a stallion that will not diminish the movement she passes on to her offspring.

Her first foal by Cabaret earned premium status and is now in training with Linda Larisch. Her second foal by Hilltop Giotto, earned Premium status and scored an incredible 8.2 on movement. Her third foal, BW-Cortesa, by Hilltop Cordini also earned Premium status. At BW-Cortesa’s inspection, she earned 8.2 on conformation and type, 8.5 on movement and 8.3 on overall impression for an overall score of 8.3. At Dressage at Devon 2002, BW-Cortesa was ISR/Oldenburg Champion (all ages/genders), 2nd in the Fillies of 2002 class and 2nd in the Breeder's Group class (all ages/genders).
